WhippedWix is a small, now thriving home fragrance business which dares to be different, safely and legally breaking the taboo around whipped wax candles, which is something relatively rare across the UK market.

In 2022 Holly, the owner and founder of WhippedWix, who lives in Wiltshire, England, was staring down the summer holidays with two young children wondering what they were all going to do for six weeks (as many parents do!) Her daughter was struggling academically due to recently discovered SEN and Holly decided to embrace their creative side, buying a cheap candle kit from Amazon to pass the time.

Holly, who is completely self taught, made her first candle with no notice of how much fragrance was added, what wick should be used and everything else that should be taken into consideration when creating candles. The candles soon became popular once they were posted online and Holly quickly taught herself about the candle making process and the laws regarding making and sell them. After a few short weeks, XO candles was accidently established and business snowballed. XO Candles was launched with only three fragrances and three colours in small, simple designs.

After a few months, with an idea of what the business was about and where she wanted it to go, Holly rebranded and WhippedWix was born. Now with over 35 fragrances, what were once simple whipped candles are now stunning, complex and uniquely designed candles with five star reviews.

' The Whipped Wax Specialist'
Holly is the owner and founder of WhippedWix. She is the creator and inventor behind the products, hand pouring all candles herself, as well as being the accountant, the PR expert, the social media manager, the picker and packer and everything else included in owning a business.

Describing herself as Barbie and Sarah Sanderson's love child, if you don't find her covered in wax creating all kinds of amazing smelling things, you'll catch her wearing her favourite colour which is black, watching true crime documentaries, Harry Potter or reading Tarot Cards.
​
She lives in the South West with her husband, Craig, their two children, their Ftench bulldog and their cat.

Craig - ' The Melt Man'
Craig is the co-owner of WhippedWix, even if for one reason or another he won't admit it. He has been the backbone of the business since it's inception. For those of you who live local, Craig is a familiar face at WhippedWix's events and markets, he'll sell the back legs off of a donkey and loves a good natter with everyone.
​
As time and the business have progressed, Craig has found a new love for hand painting and making wax melts. You can often find him in the Studio late at night when Holly has gone to bed making more stock and if he's not doing that, you'll find him in his happy place opening all of the business supply deliveries that DO NOT have his name on.
